A Carnival with ancient traditions, whose uniqueness lies in the wooden masks, made in the region, which make the Lazarim Carnival one of the most traditional in our country, and the most famous in the Lamego region. In Mondim da Beira, it is customary to have a small party on Carnival Sunday, in the village square, 100 meters from the houses, where the traditional Caldo de Farinha (flour broth) is served for lunch to anyone who shows up.
Easter Procession

It is still practiced in Mondim da Beira with the traditional procession after mass and a small procession around the local church. Often the procession is accompanied by the band, which usually begins marching in the street in front of the houses.
